Read carefully. Failure to follow these guidelines voids all warranties and releases Nordmond (and its parent entity) from all liability for injury or property damage.
1. ELECTRICAL & HEAT WARNINGS
- Microwave/Oven Prohibited: Do NOT place the Nordmond V2, its battery, or the liquid reservoir in a microwave, oven, or near any high-heat source. The device contains a lithium-ion battery and pressurized components.
- Charging Safety: Use only a standard 5V USB-C power source. Do not attempt to charge the device using damaged cables or in wet environments (e.g., near a filled bathtub or sink).
- Temperature Limits: Do not store the device in a vehicle where temperatures may exceed 104°F (40°C) or drop below freezing (32°F/0°C).
2. CHEMICAL & LIQUID HAZARDS
- Non-Potable: The mist produced by the Nordmond V2 is NOT for human or animal consumption. Do not spray directly into the mouth, nose, eyes, or any open wounds.
- Flammability: If using 70% Isopropyl Alcohol, remember it is highly flammable. DO NOT spray near open flames, lit cigarettes, candles, or gas stoves.
- Liquid Choice: Use only the approved liquids listed in your manual. Do not use bleach, vinegar, essential oils, or “homemade” chemical concoctions. This will destroy the internal pump and may create toxic fumes.
3. USAGE & ENVIRONMENT
- Not a Toy: The Nordmond V2 is a tool, not a toy. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- No Submersion: The Nordmond V2 is “mist-resistant” but NOT waterproof. Do not submerge the main body in water or use it while swimming.
- Eye Protection: Do not point the nozzle at your face or anyone else’s face while the device is active. The “Blue Light” guidance system is not a laser but should not be stared at directly for extended periods.
4. PROPERTY & SURFACE SAFETY
- The 12-Inch Rule: Failure to maintain the 12–20 inch distance on electronics, delicate fabrics, or unsealed wood may result in moisture damage. Nordmond is not liable for “water-spotting” or hardware short-circuits caused by spraying too close.
- Staining: Always test your chosen disinfectant on an inconspicuous area of furniture or clothing before full application.
5. MECHANICAL INTEGRITY
- Do Not Disassemble: There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Attempting to open the device casing will void your warranty and risks electrical shock.
- Drop Damage: If the device is dropped from a height or the liquid tank is cracked, cease use immediately. Internal damage can lead to battery instability.
6. NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE
The Nordmond V2 is a surface application tool intended for environmental hygiene. It is NOT a medical device. It is not intended for use in the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease in humans or animals. No claims made by Nordmond should be construed as medical advice.
7. VISUAL REPRESENTATION
We make every effort to display the colors and images of our products as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any color will be accurate. Slight variations in aesthetic components (color of LED, cable texture, or packaging) may occur and do not constitute a product defect.
8. FORCE MAJEURE
Nordmond Store SRL shall not be held responsible for delays in delivery or failure to perform its obligations due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, war, strikes, pandemics, customs delays, or failures of third-party logistics providers.
