At Nordmond, we prioritize the security of your financial data. Our checkout process is powered by WooCommerce and integrated with Wise (formerly TransferWise), a global leader in transparent, low-cost international payments.
- Encryption: All transactions are protected by SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. Your credit card or banking details are never stored on our WordPress servers.
- Global Standards: Our payment gateway is PCI-DSS Compliant, ensuring that your data is handled according to the highest international security standards.
2. ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS
Through our Wise integration, we accept a wide variety of payment methods to suit our California and Texas customers:
- Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
- Direct Bank Transfers: Optimized via Wise for fast, low-fee processing.
- Digital Wallets: Apple Pay and Google Pay (where available via your browser settings).
3. CURRENCY & PRICING
- Transaction Currency: All orders are processed in USD ($).
- Transparent Conversion: If you are purchasing from outside the United States, your bank or Wise may apply a real-time exchange rate. Because we use Wise, you benefit from the mid-market exchange rate with no hidden “markup” fees typically charged by traditional banks.
4. BILLING INFORMATION
Your credit card or bank statement will reflect a charge from NORDMOND STORE SRL.
- Order Confirmation: You will receive an automated receipt via email immediately after a successful checkout.
- Verification: To prevent fraud, we may perform a standard authorization check on your card to ensure there are sufficient funds and that the card is valid.
Note: Because Nordmond is an international entity, some U.S. banks may apply a small foreign transaction fee. Please consult your bank’s policy regarding international purchases.
5. TAXES & DUTIES (U.S. CUSTOMERS)
- Sales Tax: We comply with state tax laws for California and Texas. Applicable sales tax will be calculated at checkout based on your shipping zip code.
- No Import Duties: Since your Nordmond V2 is fulfilled directly from our U.S.-based fulfillment centers, you will not be charged any “International Import” or “Customs” fees upon delivery. The price you see at checkout is the final price.
6. FAILED TRANSACTIONS
If your payment is declined:
- Check that your billing address matches the address on file with your bank.
- Ensure your card is authorized for international transactions (as our parent entity is based in the EU).
